Chemguide: Support for CIE A level Chemistry Learning outcome 8(j) This statement is about the practical side of rates of reaction. Before you go on, you should find and read the statement in your copy of the syllabus. You will find what you need on the page finding orders of reaction experimentally. This is a long page - so take it slowly. This statement will be examined in paper 4, but mainly in paper 5. You may also have come across some aspects of it in the practical paper (paper 3), but in that case, you will have been given all the information you need in the question. The best way of doing this is actually via past papers. Explore as many past papers 4 and 5 as you possibly can, together with their mark schemes. That will give you a good feel for the sorts of things that get asked.
