These two statements deal with the effect of the type of bonding on the physical properties of a substance.

Before you go on, you should find and read the statements in your copy of the syllabus.

You should work through all the topics on the structures menu of Chemguide.

You will come back to much of this again in Sections 4 and 9, so even if it takes a bit of time and effort, it will be worth it.
